Clearly not. Clue - it doesn't mean bad.
Some of you are reacting like he was one of the clubs greatest ever players. He wasn't. Nowhere near. Not unless 'the clubs greatest players' is a fucking long list. That's the very epitome of 'over-rated'.
It's the sort of over-rated that led to Scott Parker being voted HOTY three times in a row and MOM in virtually every match he ever played for us.

Explain to me carefully how Dicks being voted four times Hammer of the Year in any way contradicts my argument that he was over-rated. If anything, it supports my argument.
Incidentally, the totally OTT reaction by some to what is just my opinion again serves to reinforce my argument, not undermine it. I'd understand the vitriol and faux hilarity if I posted the opinion that Billy Bonds or Sir Trev or Mooro or Dev were over-rated. But Dicks? Do me a favour! You'd think he was the Messiah - in fact he was just a very naughty boy.

Anyone questioning the quality of Dicks are either simple or never saw him play.
Creswell, OAP Pearce and a washed up Winterburn are quite simply not fit to lace his boots.
Lampard disqualified as his son is one of the biggest fat cunts to have walked this earth.

64 goals in just over 300 games from left back. For comparison, Carlton Cole scored 68 in just under 300 games, Antonio 65 in just under 250 games.
You have to question someone's sanity if they think Julian Dicks is overrated by West Ham fans.
